Phoenix Public Market

Downtown Phoenix

Downtown Phoenix

Phoenix Public Market

Among the concrete walls and paved roads is a sprout of freshness every Saturday from 8 a.m. till 1 p.m at 721 N Central Ave. The Open Air Market in Downtown Phoenix is within walking distance of the Arizona State University Downtown Phoenix campus.

The Open Air Market at the Phoenix Public Market sells more than just fresh produce, it is also a resource for small businesses to sell their products and artisans to sell their crafts. However, this Farmers Market differs from other Farmers Markets around the valley because of it’s sheer size.

According to the Phoenix Public Market’s annual report for 2015, they had a total revenue of $164,167. The amount of vendors can be seen in the infographic based in the year 2015, all together totalling 203 vendors including food trucks. Of those 203 vendors, 50 of those vendors were new in 2015.

Overall, for a complete experience at a Farmers Market, the Downtown Phoenix Public Market, Open Air Market is a good choice for a Saturday morning.
